Healing with Essential Oils
Essential oils can have a healing effect mentally, physically, and emotionally. They can help you relax, sleep, improve your skin and digestion — their benefits go well beyond a pleasant smell.
I love essential oils. I am a self-taught aroma enthusiast. I have been dabbling with essential oils for a few years now. I use them daily, either in baths, massage oils, or in a diffuser.
If you wish during our session I can diffuse some personally selected essential oils in my healing room to create a calming and uplifting atmosphere.
Even though I am not officially a certified Aromatherapist I can still share my discoveries with you. Ask me about how to use essential oils, in such situations as a warm relaxing bath, or for massages, improving the air in your home.
I have plenty of books we could look through, or tell you about my personal favs, so we can find what you are looking for to improve your life and environment.
Aromatherapy is the art and science of using essential oils for improving and maintaining health and beauty. Several ancient civilizations (Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Chinese and Indian) have used Aromatherapy for their physical and mental well-being. The actual word “AROMATHERAPIE” was coined in 1928 by Rene Maurice Gattefosse, a French chemist. While conducting experiments, his hand was severely burned in a lab explosion and he found that LAVENDER healed it. He is referred to as the modern day father of Aromatherapy. Today there is growing interest in this gentle but effective method to balance body, mind and spirit.
